What Is Backflow Testing?
And Why Is It Necessary?
Backflow-prevention assemblies protect your drinking water by preventing contaminated water from flowing backward into the public water supply. These devices are required anywhere a plumbing system connects to public utilities and there is a risk of cross-connection.
Backflow assemblies are commonly found at homes, apartment complexes, irrigation systems, pools, car washes, ice machines, soda machines, and other commercial or industrial properties. Over time, these assemblies can wear out or fail, which is why annual backflow testing is required by most cities and water authorities.
When you schedule a test with H2O & Backflow Tests, our licensed technicians inspect and test your backflow-prevention assemblies to ensure they are working properly and meeting local and state requirements. This testing helps protect both your property and the public water supply.
